In this project, I studied a subject with a profession I am unfamiliar with and created somethign that could help them in their practice. I studied a fashion designer, Christopher Yuen, who owns and solely runs his own online fashion brand. Christopher "CY" Yuen designs, patterns, sews, and sells his own original pieces from his apartment.

Countering his frustrations in the fashion industry concerning brand, creative originality, and protecting artistic value, I designed and made custom facets that are unique to his brand. They are custom facets that are functional but also read as a trade dress and trade mark to his brand. They are meant to act as a signature on an art piece, but on a clothing piece. They read "CY" and are 3D printed in ABS plastic.
